Can one person change the world? We considered this question in our Freshman Inquiry class at Portland State University. At this site, you will find the stories of people who have changed the world so dramatically that they have ended up in the history books. They come from different places, times, and backgrounds. Read about them, and think: What do each of their life stories teach us about changing the world?
